Every product has a different minimum order quantity (MOQ) defined, and the same can be viewed on the product page.

For DOMUS the person who has purchased the item would be considered as its End User and the delivery of the item would be made to his address only.

The brand will cover the guarantee and warranty of the product.

  1. If the order is in pending status then the customer can cancel anytime.
  2. Once the order is in Processing status cancellation is not possible.

Domus is an ecommerce platform to sell Building Material Products, sourced from various suppliers, from India and abroad, using the following alternate routes for sale:

  • Technology based platform to sell products of building material
  • Domus is targeting to on-boarding of 10,00,000+ retail shops and individual users across India. In Phase 2, Domus shall be expand this platform internationally;
  • Domus’ marketing team of senior professionals will market the Suppliers’ products to Institutional buyers also (Contractors, Developers and Influencers such as Architects and Engineers);

Domus brings Direct Dealers, Distributors, retailers and manufacturers in India on to a single platform.
You can register with GSTIN number, bank details, your mobile number, and OTP. Once you have put the mobile number and OTP, registration process will start. Being a B2B platform, the only requirement to register with Domus is that you own or work at a business or a shop. You must be at least 18 years old to be Domus member.When Suppliers agree to sell items, they are entering into contracts with each other. In most countries, you must be at least 18 years old to enter into a contract.

We are a B2B (where shopkeepers can purchase from us) and B2C ( a non-business person can purchase form us), our business model is to sell to retail stores, end users, architects, contractors and builders.

This is a zero cost trading platform for sellers where we buy goods from sellers and sell them to our members

We have either Cataloged your products or in the process of Cataloging. Incase you don’t find the brand that you want us to catalog do provide us with your catalog in digital format and we will have your products cataloged on Domus Once you complete your registration with us, you will be guided on the steps needed to list your products by our specialist cataloguing team. For further assistance, kindly get in touch with our support team

We have Third party service providers who are trained on our imaging & cataloguing guidelines and can assist you in creating high impact listings. They also have preferential rates and offers for suppliers of Domus.

Our category team members will look into your product range and will make a list of products to be displayed online. Subsequently, our purchase team will send you the first purchase order for the same.

You can track all the orders through a dashboard available on dedicated seller portal once you complete the registration process and log on to our website. You will be updated about all the orders on your registered email address and mobile number.
Our support team will hand hold you the first 30 days after registration and will ensure that the process is streamlined.

Payment and supply terms are customized for each and every supplier at the time of registration and the payments will be released directly into your bank account within the committed dates through online mode.

Our Purchase Order (P.O.) has the details of the products that are ordered and also has the breakup of the shipments. We expect you to break the order into the shipments as advised on the Purchase order

We have a tie-up with most of the large logistics partners who will further pick the parcel from your door step.

You just need to pack the parcel with original packing and paste the packing slip.

Yes, we will help you liquidate dead stock by promoting the same to our members, but we expect the dead stock’s to be in saleable condition and will need to be given a special pricing too.

Not at all, Domus buy’s your products and Domus will be responsible for the payment

The price being sold to members is at the sole discretion of Domus and Customer price may vary from your price to incorporate our Margins and other incidental expenses

PURCHASE ORDER 


 

Each supplier shall be getting product wise purchase order pertaining to them, which may or may not have sub purchase orders. 

Single product PO’s shall be issued with or without sub PO’s as per the members requirements. 

DOMUS shall issue purchase order to supplier through email, followed by an SMS.

Yes, the supplier shall have access to the PO on the DOMUS Seller Panel

 

SUPPLIER PO CONFIRMATION

 

Yes, Supplier shall confirm to DOMUS about receipt of PO and 100% availability of goods via Seller’s panel within 3 hours of receipt of PO.

If Supplier does not confirm within three hours, then a reminder SMS is sent by DOMUS and no response from Supplier in another two hours, then DOMUS shall tell call the Supplier for confirmation.

 

If Supplier does not respond after all efforts (mentioned in b above), the PO gets cancelled after 24 hours of PO generation, and order is passed to next best Supplier.

 

HANDLING SHORT SUPPLIES AT PO CONFIRMATION STAGE-SUPPLIER

 

Though it’s expected that after confirmation of 100% availability, Suppliers shall keep their commitment to ensure complete supplies to ultimate customer, still If any material is in short quantity than PO, Supplier must inform DOMUS, along with lead time for balance replenishment.

In the exceptional situation, if material is not available with any other supplier, Domus shall update member and depending upon member’s choice, shall be offered an alternate choice and if member is not interested in alternates, shall be given a credit note for the value of purchase.

Incase member refuses the credit note, the process for refund shall be initiated.

 

PICKING, PACKING & DOCUMENTATION-SUPPLIER

 

24 hours before the actual date of dispatch, another SMS and email are sent to Supplier by DOMUS.

Pick complete quantity of material as per PO and Invoice of good material in OEM packing.

Its required when value of material exceeds 50,000.

The GST authorities may hold the vehicle and responsibility shall be that of supplier. Its mandatory to follow the law.

 

SPECIAL CARE FOR FRAGILE GOODS

 

Yes, following actions are important for suppliers

  • Do not tamper with OEM packing.
  • Do not stack anything over fragile material.
  • Put another sticker of FRAGILE, if required for easy identification.
  • Mark this side up marking. 
  

HANDLING SHORT SUPPLIES BY CUSTOMER (MISSING/DAMAGE)

 

Yes, Supplier shall be intimated about damages/shortages over email within 24 hours of receipt by customer. Supplier is required to replenish the damage material within 24-48 hours to meet DOMUS’s obligation to its member.

To meet its obligation towards members, DOMUS shall pass such orders to L-2/Cancellation will be done 

 

ARRIVAL & DELIVERY AT MEMBERS PLACE

  

Domus will exchange the product if any damage happened during transit. Customers’ needs to report on [email protected] within 24hrs of the product with pics

DOMUS shall try to send back the replacement as early as possible however its dependent upon availability of replacement from source of Supply.

If any wrong product shipped from suppliers end then Domus will provide its customers an exchange/refund only after their request.

HANDLING WARRANTY CLAIMS:

 

Pre specified warranty period begins from the date of sale from members.As and when an end user contact member for warranty, member informs end user to connect and lodge claim with OEM.
