The efficiency of the street lights is maximised using a sensor and an intelligent controller, which is programmed to regulate the light output depending on movement detection and time schedule.
The streetlight usually operates on 30 Percentage intensity, and glows with full intensity when the sensors detect movement.
Time schedule model operates on 100X intensity for first 3 hours, 65X intensity for next 2 hours and for rest of the time at 30X intensity.
